Robert founded Barcodes That Scan and ran the print-and-scan test behind the site's threshold data, printing four barcode formats at six sizes on a home laser printer and recording which ones a phone camera could actually scan. The method, equipment and full results are published on the barcode generator page and in the downloadable test sheet, so anyone can reproduce it.
