LPN barcode generator

An LPN is an internal tracking number your own warehouse system assigns. Generate the barcode for it below, no registration required.

What is an LPN?

License Plate Number: a unique identifier a warehouse or fulfillment system assigns to a pallet, case, or tote so it can be tracked without repeatedly scanning everything inside it. Unlike a UPC or EAN, an LPN isn’t a product identifier and isn’t registered with GS1. It only has to be unique and consistent within your own system.

Which format should an LPN barcode use?

Code 128. It’s the standard choice for internal logistics identifiers. It encodes letters and numbers compactly and has no registration tied to it, matching what an LPN is: an arbitrary reference number, not a product code.

SVG stays sharp at any size and is what you want for printing. PNG is easier to drop into a spreadsheet or listing.

Everything runs in your browser. Nothing you type is sent anywhere.
