This site doesn’t scan or look up barcodes. A “barcode reader” or “lookup” tool uses your device’s camera to scan a printed code and match it against a product database, which requires camera access and a database, neither of which this site uses. If that’s what you’re after, your phone’s native camera app or a dedicated scanning app handles it; this page covers the generating side instead.
What does Walmart require for a product barcode?
A GTIN, usually a UPC-A, registered to your business through GS1. Like Amazon, Walmart Marketplace checks new listings against GS1’s database in many categories, and a number that isn’t properly registered to you is a common reason a listing gets rejected or removed after the fact. See do you need a GS1 number for the full picture.
